I have decided to make our blog public. Readers will no longer need an invite to view it. It is still cannot be found by searching the web, but anyone with a link to it can read it.
I have gained so much by being a voyeur in the blogging world - reading other peoples' blogs, but not commenting or otherwise participating. I have decided that I would like to more fully engage in this cyber-community and see where it takes me. In general, one lesson I am learning from this adoption process is that sharing and engaging more only makes the process easier and the experience richer. It really is a small world if you just get out there and share and listen.
So, feel free to share the link to our blog with anyone that you think might enjoy it or get something out of it. We'll see where the blogging journey takes us.
This blog was created to chronicle our journey towards parenthood through Ethiopian adoption. Now that our kids are home it serves as a space to explore and record life as a family of four. If you feel compelled, read along as we work to create the Perfect Space for our family.
"I wanna have friends that I can trust, that love me for the man I’ve become not the man I was. I wanna have friends that will let me be all alone when being alone is all that I need. I wanna fit in to the perfect space, feel natural and safe in a volatile place."
