Our homestudy was approved by our placement agency! We received our dossier packet last night - I am already coming up with my strategy to get it done AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.
Unfortunately, our homestudy agency won't release our final homestudy to our placement agency until they have a letter from my insurance stating that my plan will not preclude any necessary treatment our children may need for pre-existing conditions. Apparently, they are worried about any liability they might have on our case after all the trouble we have put them through to fix our draft homestudy. Fortunately, the letter is already in the mail. Our last letter from the insurance company came really quick. Hopefully this one will too.
Do I recommend our homestudy agency - nope, you'll have to ask someone else for a recommendation.
